If you thought of it then cool.
Some might not and allow it to get thick down there. I know no one would ever install a rubber or even metal washer on the wheel bolts and just might not realized this product has caked up in the hole.
I would probably stick something down in there before spraying. Maybe the lug bolts...then pop them out and peel the stuff off. Haven't sprayed wheels with the stuff so just going over it in my head now.
