Unfortunately, due to the current global climate, there are serious delays with materials, logistics as well as production capacity.
Although a lot of the processing (such as machining) is done in-house, we still have to rely on other partner facilities for other processes such as forging, processing, heat treatment etc
Just one delay somewhere in the chain will delay the whole process and a facility is not going to keep their machines on "hold" whilst waiting for the step before it to complete, so they have to end up rescheduling the step to a later date. This daisy chain effect is why almost every company in manufacturing and supply at the moment have serious production delays
