When I picked up my 335i, I went straight from the dealer to Maine for a rafting trip (bachelor party). It was the best possible way to break in the car - tons of fast straights. Definitely didn't follow proper break in protocol!
Not too long after, I went to Burlington, VT for a wedding. I just took 89 the whole way like the directions said. I just remember the more rural parts being 2 lanes and having no places for state police to hide.
I don't know much about twisty backroads, but both trips were memorable and I was glad I was driving a BMW!
