I'll bet your flogging the bag out of it to make that exhaust sing so there goes your MPG
Have you done a tune yet.... if you do you will notice the car becomes a bit more responsive and more linear through the range
I got mine at 5K and the fuel consumption has never really changed that much and is pretty much what they estimate on the brochure
