Skibowl is good on price, but Mt. Hood weather can be crappy and skibowl is at lower elevation (~3.3k ft iirc) so depending on the weather conditions can sort of suck at skibowl.
Everyone likes to hate on it, but Meadows definitely wins in terms of terrain and size, but the crowds can suck.
If it were me coming for a weekend I probably wouldn't pick Mt. Hood - the weather is just too variable and likely to suck. Plus we're trending to an El Nino winter so warmer and less precipitation.
