I know the system is still new out in the market, but has anyone had issues with regular maintenance? Rom3n, of course you've had the most miles put on, what have you had to do to keep the car in good shape?
If this were to be a daily driver, is BMW going to scoff at regular maintenance to the engine? I assume cleaning the fuel injectors is out. Long term-milage-wise, what is a customer getting themself into? Doesn't the Vortech need an oil swap after awhile?
Wow, quite a barrage there. Just trying to think ahead, because I'm pretty interested and I don't even have the car yet.  So far, this looks to be a rock-solid tune. |
My dealer has done all of my free maintenance. The only maintenance that is required for the kit is the oil in the Vortech blower needs to be changed every 7-8k miles. This service is very easy to perform and takes about 10-15 min.
