Only at very slow speed does it do this. And only from 1st to 2nd. Is this typical and I have just never noticed or is it a programming issue that has just arisen? One other thing, this is a Florida car. I'm in 30 degree weather up north. Every sensor in the car has gone off including emissions, start off assistance, DBC malfunction and DSC malfunction. So I'm assuming that the cold weather is affecting the battery. Is the battery issue affecting the transmission also?
I had this exact same problem when one of my wheel speed (ABS) sensors went bad. If you are throwing these codes the car basically takes over the 1-2 shift to keep you from losing it. Fix the errors and your DCT with shift perfect again!

P.S. my car throws all kinds of random codes along with the battery error BC the batt is on its way out (unrelated to my ABS sensor problem). Mine even began shifting funny (slow shifts in S5) and Im pretty sure it is my batt, as the DCT is not leaking. If you are getting battery fault codes I would for sure think this is related to the battery failing.
