Fair enough, I must have misunderstood what you were saying in the original post.
The comment of 997TT drivers moving to the new M3 is definitely valid here in the UK, the Porsche is twice the price and unless you had taken a hell of a pay cut then the chances of you down grading which a move to the M3 would be is highly unlikely.
Now if you were to say that 997TT owners were adding a E90 M3 to their stable then I would totally agree, it would be the perfect partner.
