I keep our natural gas and electricity bills on the monthly average. Just because you see such big swings. It's much easier to try to make a budget when it stays "relatively" the same.
Then we do stuff like blow $200+ on two meals over the weekend. But that's why we try to keep the rest of our expenses low. |
Yeah, this is no longer a mild climate here and our electric bill soars in the summer.
I will also say that I keep the thermostat at 70 all year long.
