So I haven't been putting any oil in for the past month or so - before that was adding in 100 to 250mL at a time to get it jsut right at the max for my track days. Well nothing budged, I went to the track days.
Then today, 2 track events plus 2 weeks later it decides to tell me I'm above max. Ive been driving the car hard chasing PB's, drifting for fun and giving Bimmerfest on-lookers a show with the same amount of oil with no problem - but then light comes on and my brain starts freaking out.
Drained the front sump expecting a little bit to come out but damn near 1L came out. I had about 250mL in an extra bottle, drained it into a tupperware on top of a bunch of towels, poured it into the extra bottle and it was to the brim.
Now must go drive around the block - the stupid meter probably won't reset, but it's also more for me to run the car and come back and see if it is leaking at all in the morning, even though I tightened the shit out of it.
These cars are retarded.
