My two cents on the Tesla (actually both the model 3 perf and model y perf) My father in law purchased a Model Y recently but extensively test drove a model 3 performance before deciding on the Y. I drove it as well; was it fast? Sure. Was it boring as hell too? YES. No soul, no emotion, numb etc. you just don't feel anything. Interestingly, I made these observations while I owned my F10 M5, which is arguably one of the more "numb" and "robotic" of the recent M cars. This isn't a familiarity thing either, I spend about 45 minutes with a 718 Cayman S within the same few weeks and was blown away by it.
