A cooler thermostat is not necessarily a good thing on a modern car. All of the ECU programming is designed to work with the oem operating temperature. Any particular reason you want the engine to run cooler? |
The temps are consistent when driving it like a normal human. It's when I get on it that I see the temps spike. I thought maybe a thermostat that opens up a little earlier could keep the spikes in temperature to a minimum without have to resort to major mods (radiator and coolers). It's a popular mod on the Chevy LS engines and they ran great with it.
