I agree, slowest of the M3 trio. But if you are specifically looking for a quick four seat convertible, there is not much else to compare to at this price point.
Some people pick the body style that they want, then select what is the best vehicle among the available choices. Trying to compare an E92 against an E93 on performance grounds would be ludicrous, as they two similar cars with but with different missions.
