OEM bearings are silver, I think those were WPC treated or less likely but still possible perhaps the early VAC coated OEM ones. Either way they came out in good shape, but they likely don't have much miles on them. |
O.P. posted a photo of a BMW stamp with some numbers on the back of his black coated shells. I can't read all the numbers but perhaps VAC or similar stamped them for application. I don't recall OEM shells having BMW stamped on the original shells. ??
