How about an F80 M3? Faster, handles better, more tuneable for less money, more modern, plenty of torque for daily driving.
Did you drive the E92M3? If it is a 6 speed you have to work it hard to play, downshifting and driving it around at 6000-8400 rpm. The DCT trans will do the work for you and is probably the better choice.
