I love driving my M3 in winter. Definitely you need a good set of winter tires though.

Part of the reason I moved away, so "no thanks" can work in some cases. Don't miss the -45 deg C winters in Manitoba either, dry squeaking snow underfoot as the moisture freezes around your nostrils and your face goes numb, and that's all after the first 30 seconds or so, without any wind blowing either....LOL. Add in the wind and your face goes numb and frozen.
i agree, getting stuck behind those trucks suck!
