All I can say is today I went back to the ZCP 19s with summer Contis, and the car rides considerably higher than it does with the 18" wheels and staggered Wintersports (35 profile). It seems that if the 40 is so much bigger, then the thing to do to maintain ground clearance with winter tires is to stay with 19" rims. The "stock" ZCP setup is low enough, but with the winter setup I was scraping on a lot of driveways. The last thing I want is to be lower in the winter.
