Can anyone recommend an indy shop around town (or skilled individual) who can do advanced maintenance/install mods? Stuff well in advance of spark plugs, oil changes, and the like. There are some posts on here about indy places but they are quite dated.
To me, a portion of the pleasure in owning a nice vehicle is doing my own maintenance/mods when all possible. However, at current I own a condo downtown. I'm commonly the person that receives strange looks for being in the parking garage working on his own vehicle by the people living here (as if working on your own vehicle makes you inferior around here), but unfortunately I do not have the space, equipment, or specialty tools to do some of the more advanced work I am considering (suspension, welding, etc.) and in this instance I need to just to pay someone to do it.
I've got the itch to spend some dough on my primarily, aside from cosmetics, stock machine. So any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!
