Although I think these jacking point inserts are a good idea, I don't know why someone hasn't made a aluminum piece that replaces the plastic jacking points under the car. It could use the same mounting points, but be flat with raised edges so a person could simply line up their hydraulic jack and raise the car. They would be there permanently which would make lifting the car a bit easier too.
Also, how do people use jack stands when the car is being raised...where do you put them? I can't use the jacking points because the jack is there.
