Sure, but that is a problem in itself, because there is a dead spot around the A-pillar area behind the steering wheel. The OBD port is located just in that area, so that you can break the front part of the driver window and reach the OBD port undetected by the alarm.
That means, with alarm equipped, the broken window has to be replaced, too. Sometimes, the thieves break the window, code a new key, remove the airbag to fake a part theft and return to take the car only after the owner has repaired the window, see
