It's my wife's E93 and I've recommended she changes modes occasionally so they don't get stuck. Last time I drove it I noticed it would switch from Normal to Sport, but not to comfort. I was driving it today and decided to try again, I switched from normal (default setting) to sport. I can't say I felt any difference but it did have 2 lights on. After a few minutes I pressed the button again but it stayed with 2 lights on. I waited a few seconds and pressed it again and "poof" I let the smoke out! So now we have no lights on the EDC button, but I'm not getting any EDC error messages. I haven't had time yet to check the fuse list, but I'd expect most all electric devices to be on a fuse somewhere along the line.
