That is correct, the 18x9.5" ET22 with 265/35/18 tires can work on an e46 M3 that has camber plates and has the capability of dialing in at least -2.5 degrees of camber. The actual amount of camber required will be dependent on your ride height and tire make and model, but that would be the minimum camber required to use a street tire in that size to properly clear the fenders.
