I think that if the halos stay bright, the headlights tend to look aftermarket. At least thats what I thought when the first DDE's started replacing the Angel Eyes and Phosphyres back in my E46 days. I'd have to see that code on an E92 to make a decision.

Why would you do that? I don't even like the 3 signal bursts - its a turn signal not an H/K MP5

I'm undecided about that. I've been behind people that have those strobing taillights, and I found myself captivated by the flashing, and not paying as much attention to what I was about to run into. |
It'll only display under hard braking. And I mean hard constant braking so it's not going to show everytime you come to a stop. I was on the same boat as you originally but it's a nice feature and get compliments on it everytime I'm out on a drive with others
