My question is why would want to use race pads for the street? I don’t see any big performance advantage that would outweigh the lack of braking with cold brakes. You can’t always keep your brakes at temp on the street and if you need to stop quickly you’ll be at a disadvantage. You’ll get tired of attracting attention with squealing brakes too, though you may get a grin from watching everyone run to the curb with their trash bags.
Assume the OP had them put on in advance of a track day. Due to some time constraints I put mine in a couple of weeks prior to my track weekend and the squeal was driving me nuts. Just swapped back to OEM pads and the silence is blissful...
