I change the 3.62 diff (3 clutch) on my track e46 M3 to a 4.10 and it was one of the best mods/upgrades! I've also change the 3.15 diff on my e92 M3 DCT to 3.62 (3 clutch) and absolutely love it. 6th and 7th gears are now useable on the highway.
A 4.10 diff on an e9x M3 MT is only a ~6% change over the stock 3.85. I'd go with a 4.44 diff if it's a track-only car but that would also depend on the tracks you go to. |
Nice. I was contemplating a 3.62 gear for my dct. But just pulled the trigger on a 3.45 that I got for a great deal. But now I need to pick out the differential.
Who did your differential?
