Depends on your needs and expectations. It certainly has advantages in terms of being able to customize the car, at the expense of cost and complexity. I imagine you would get the price back upon resale, though. I assume there will be aftermarket springs to allow some modification, and maybe even chip tuning for the system. On the other hand, my E46 with coilovers seems just fine to me.
