yes, its fine. i've seen it plenty of times, but i would get something adjustable. a swaybar isn't a "one size fits all" kind of thing, it needs to be adjusted based on what you're doing with it and how the car is setup.
the only reason i think a rear bar isn't as popular is the difficulty of the install.
