Evolve E9X M3 Supercharger System

We have been very busy over the last few months developing our own supercharger kit for the E9X M3 After many light nights, testing different cooling options, tuning and hundreds of dyno runs we are nearly there. The final product should be ready in about 2 months as we are continuing testing, perfecting the mapping and the aesthetic design of the plenum.

We have lots of data to share with you in due course that we have gathered during development and testing.

Pricing is yet to be determined.

Here are some of the details:

Hardware:

Rotrex C38-91 Supercharger (1100CFM)
Self Contained Lubrication System with separate oil cooler
High Tension 8 Rib Belt System with 270 DegC Belt Wrap
Xylan Coated CNC Machined Billet Aluminium Bracket
Xylan Coated CNC Machined Billet Aluminium Bracket Supercharger Bracket Housing
Xylan Coated CNC Machined Billet Aluminium Plenum with Optimised Velocity Stacks
Xylan Coated CNC Machined Billet Aluminium Lower Bank 2 VANOS Cover
Aluminium Crank and Water Pump Pulleys
Evolve/ITG High Flow Foam Maxogen Filtration System
8 x Bosch Motorsport Fuel Injectors
Front Mount Air to Air Intercooler - no cutting of front panel
Boost Hoses
Silicone Hoses
Clamps
Brackets

Engine Management System:

Calibration optimised both on dyno and road under various weather conditions

Evolve Recalibrated MSS65 DME with optimized
Fuel
Ignition
Torque Calculation
CAM Timing

Calibrations for 91(US)/95(EUR) + Octane Fuel

Systems available:

Air to Air Front Mount Intercooled 580-600 HP @ 6.7 PSI
Air to Air Front Mount Intercooled 600-630 HP @ 7.5 PSI

(Boost readings are taken at plenum)

(Note – Power will vary and will be heavily dependant upon ambient temperatures as the S65 is very dependant upon combustion temperatures)

This is the CNC machined VANOS cover unit. We re-manufactured a brand new one just so we did not have to use spacers on the original one. This adds further structural rigidity to the bracket and belt drive.

The main bracket is made up of 3 pieces and simple things like covering the belt drive. Notice how the bolt holes on the outer cover also include those for the tensioner pulleys so that they are not stressed and last. The whole belt drive system is specifically designed to avoid any kind of belt slip. This is a very important point as belt slip is one of the primary reasons for superchargers over heating and power loss.

The test bracket (final design will be as above) and supercharger mounted on our car.
