I suspect the comment about "no soul" is because it's a twin-turbo V6, AWD, and because of the insane number of electronics that make it feel like real-life Gran Turismo.
Only way to know for sure is drive one for yourself and see how it makes you feel. Don't be suckered in by the crazy acceleration, there's much more to a car than 0-60 times.
