I had CEL and limp mode pop up on the track this weekend. On the Idrive screen it said "fuel pump malfunction". I pulled into the hot pits, restarted the car and everything went away. I did a cool down lap thinking perhaps it was temp related. I got back on it and in half a lap it triggered again. Pulled out and was done for the day.
Pulled my codes, did my research and found this tread. I purchased this part from ebay:

It has the same model number, even tho its listed as an "X6 part"
Getting it this weekend and will install. Keep you guys updated. If it works, its quite cheaper than the OEM price.
