Interesting thread, was intrigued myself.
The KEEN's seem really good, as do the Haix.

Uvex S3 boots, seem very similar to Haix boots, similar price too. Must be the German way... well, clearly everyone here approves of German products
I was working as a site engineer at the time, over winter I got fed up with wet socks and being constantly uncomfortable. Got a pair of these Uvex's and I was perfectly comfortable through anything... standing in puddles like it ain't shit.
