I'm aware of this above instruction. But in my case, the metal part of the tow hook is too close to the bumper already, there is no way I can put the cover on... Maybe the above method works for the front bumper but not the rear? I can try again tonight, and try to take some pictures at the same time and show you...

Obviously his is not a m3 and it's not the same strap... But situation is very similar, the metal piece is almost flush with the rear bumper already, with the extra thickness of the strap, I don't think it's possible to fit. I wonder if the fact that most of the ppl use it on the front bumper makes me one of the few ppl who realize / report this problem?
