FWIW here's a recent voa of the "new" TWS (labelled Castrol Edge Professional TWS 10w60). It's definitely different than the original version - - and in my opinion, better in several respects.

What impressed me most was the diversity of the anti-wear additive pack. Not just the usual ration of zinc and phosphorous (zddp), but a good measure of titanium and boron, plus plenty of moly (friction modifier). The titanium and boron set up or activate very rapidly in new or fresh oil, forming very hard films to protect engine metals. Zddp not so much. Studies (particularly a Ford/Phillips study) have shown that zddp can take as much as 3000 mi to fully activate and form a protective anti-wear film, which is actually a product of chemical decomposition. Meanwhile, anti-wear performance of zddp is not so good. The Ford study showed that by around 7500 mi the "aged" oil is actually doing a better job of lubricating than fresh oil (measured wear in the aged oil practically zero and greatly improved coefficient of friction or slippery-ness). Hard to believe, i know.
