The question comes down to understanding how fast turns in the road, stop signs, other drivers, and other dangers are coming at you. How are you going to react to these situations? What are you going to do if the car starts to slide? What are you going to do if the wheels start spinning? My suggestion is start off slow. Nothing can give you the experience you need but time behind the wheel.
