I have 2565 miles on the car. The 1200 mile service was performed 2 months ago. The oil measured full after the 1200 mile service. I am still slowly breaking the car in and have not gone past 7000 RPMs. At 2565 miles the oil warning light came on and told me to add a quart of oil. I pulled over and measured the oil which read minimum. I was worried about all of the threads I've read about how inaccurate the measurements were and decided to only add a 1/4 quart. I immediately checked the measurement while the engine was still hot and it said max. When I got home I let the car cool and then took the measurement one more time. Once again the reading said max. Kind of annoying.
