I removed mine a couple years back with minimal residue left over by using a steamer, heating the tint up and peeling. The steamer will make the glue lift and stick to the actual tint as apposed to sticking to the window. Any left over glue on the window, you can use a razor blade and soap and water mix to lubricate the window to use the razor blade. Be careful with the rear window though it's very easy to damage the defrosters.
