Seems like the newest craze is spray in sealants. Sonax and hydrosilex are some more recent ones as well as Blackfire. These are more sealant type coatings that are easier to use and give about 3-6 months worth of protection. If you're not doing a true ceramic coating, use a good quality wax and then top with one of these. Sonax is probably the easiest spray on sealant and acts more like the wax than a ceramic coating but all you do is wash the car, rinse and spray sonax on the wet car and rinse immediately again.
