I used to take my old Mustang here when I needed servicing and install parts, good guys there. I take the M3 to a place in Bayside Queens called V & S Auto if you're willing to take the trip out a bit further. They are a BMW authorized service center and always do a great job on the car, ask for Vince if you end up out there.

Patching should be good enough, I saw the other thread and I don't think we need to worry about lateral forces tearing the tire apart doing 70 on the LIE, lol. Good luck.
