BMW recommends to load up the chassis with a specific amount of weight in specified spots with a full tank of fuel before aligned.

68kg on each of the front seats, 20kg luggage in trunk and 40kg of weight on the center of the rear seats.

If aligning with ONLY a driver in the car, then the alignment settings will not be the same without a driver inside the car when static. Alignments should be performed with a decent amount of fuel inside the car.
