I think the E92 M3 racecar you referenced is in GTS4, and my little E30 M3 will be no match for it with its power/weight ratio.
US spec S52 based E36 M3s racecars fall into GTS4 or GTS3 depending on level of development (mainly power). My
guess is that an E92 M3 will be faster than an E36 M3 in GTS4 at the same power/weight with similar suspension and aero upgrades.
