I had a 997.2 gt3 and loved it but it was way too harsh to drive it as much as I would have hoped to. I think what Porsche has done is great and will ultimately lead to a better all around car. I also loved the metzger engine, the way it sounded and rumbled was a thing of beauty, but it did have its faults particularly lazy throttle response would make it difficult for smooth heel toe downshifts. I'm very excited about the new car, have been waiting for more details for quite some time and I think I'm gonna sell my r8 for one real soon
