The V1 software update that removes K band false alerts works. I know because one of my V1s has it and the other does not, the difference is dramatic.
Currently I have both V1's set to only detect Ka band. Ka band is guaranteed to be a cop running radar in the Northeast.
Every time I do a long trip I am saved by this thing at least once. Sometimes as much as 3x per trip.
You see some LEOs at the side of the road that are not running anything because they are visually waiting for some jackass to come around. They probably alternate between running something and not.
I have Laser Interceptors and it's extremely rare to get hit with Laser. Almost every time it's radar.
