http://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servl...on=LightRailTo should be a good way to access the track. Pavonia-Newport station in Jersey City to Port Imperial would be a good choice for parking near the Pavonia ave Newport station. At least 1 hotel is near the station,
http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...-city-newport/ The area along Kennedy Boulevard East is very nice, at least the last time I was there, from 1967- 2000. I worked for PSE&G, the local electric and gas company during that time, retired in 2006. There is also a huge parking lot for the ferry to New York at Port Imperial, adjacent to the track. This should be a good race, hopefully a lot of repaving will be done prior to the race.
