It means 12 hours between drinking and flying...
One of my good friends is a private flight instructor and we fly very often. This weekend I went to the beach on Marthas Vineyard for 5 hours on Sat then to Calverton and Moriches to go skydiving on Sunday. Two weeks earlier we went to Block Island for dinner. He makes me fly whenever we go somewhere which is pretty cool. According to him, it would cost about $15,000 from soup to nuts and I could finish in about 6 months.
I will also say that the rush you feel was the same thing you felt when you first started driving a car... it just becomes routine.
