There are three acc sensors, two front and one rear (on E90 its just above the module inside right fender, not left as some documents suggest). I don't think the acc sensors location has anything to do with rear/front damper issues, the sensors simply provide body movement for the EDC module to calculate damper/valve setting on. I.e. your error saying "rear chock problem" I would guess is not coming from a sensor issue, but again this is a guess. Btw Im pretty sure you will pick up a sensor issue with a scan (you have Carly for instance?)

According to documents I've red, should a sensore go bust (there is also a steering angel sensor input), the module sets itself in "half halt" with a mid drive current output settings the dampers "half stiff". No adapting/current adjustment will occur at this stage.
