How come some people can ship their wheels and tires for like $100 across the country, and then I see people who pay close to $200

and then I run a FedEx quote.. and am being quoted a ridiculous amount of $270?

I remember I shipped 4 tires (just tires) for $180 at UPS.. and it was a rip off but I didn't have time to drive to Fedex

Do you guys just not insure it? or put a very low value amount?

This has always baffled me...
