The lack of mechanical aptitude/adventurism/willingness to learn amongst cyclists, particularly road cyclists, is hilariously similar to the performance car world. Truing wheels, in particular, seems to hold the same reverence in people's minds as engine rebuilds. YOU MUST CONSULT A BIKE MECHANIC

Uh...it's like 40 bolts on the whole machine, 3 special tools, and GASP MY WHEEL IS OUT OF TRUE I AM FINISHED UNTIL I CAN CONSULT MY MECHANIC bruh you just spin the wheel and tweak spokes until it doesn't wobble anymore, if my cars were like that I'd be a much richer man lol
