I have the pirelli winter tyres and they make a massive difference.
I have the DCT - I tried the lowest gear box setting. Allows you to pull away in 2nd. Even with the DSC on I still got the rear out 15 deg or so on power slides before the DSC cut in got it back in shape. Will have to try it in dynamic mode!
For me its about getting up mountain roads to ski resorts. I once managed to get up to Verbier in 6in of new snow, completely fine.
