I purchased the oil change kit, filter adapter and Castrol Edge Gold 10W-60 to change the oil myself but don't have time to do it. The local European independent I called wants to do it using Liqui Molly 10W-60, saying it's just as good.
I paid $13/liter for the M3-specific Castrol, the LiquiMoly sees to be $42/5 liter (about 2/3rd the price). Great, if it just as good but the independent still wants $232 for the oil change. Seems high for a lesser oil?
