I have owned many high HP/torque RWD vehicles including BMW 530i/540i sport models, Infiniti M45 sport and Lexus IS350. I never had a problem getting around in the winter. Heck, last time I checked, most of the LEO's are driving Crown Vics or Chargers.

Does an AWD vehicle have an advantage in the winter, yes. But most owners use all-season tires. Give me a RWD vehicle with a dedicated winter/summer setup.
Great insight man!
